Nokia Launching Three Smartphones Along With Three New Asha Phones At MWC

Lumia 900

Nokia has always been up to something or the other. Be it the cheesy Valentine’s Day greeting for AT&T or the announcement of new smartphones and feature phones in the market, the company is always up for it. And now it seems like the Finnish brand will continue the flow at MWC as well. Reports from a couple of sources suggest that the company could be looking to launch three new smartphones as well as three new Asha Symbian S40 series phones. Earlier in the day, it was reported that three feature phones would break cover but now we have a hint that it’s the Asha series which is Nokia’s new range of feature phones announced last year. Feature phones like the Asha 302, 303 and 202 are said to be ones prepping for an announcement.

As for the smartphones, we haven’t been able to gather any info yet. Nokia could be holding off the mystery smartphones until the very last minute so as to not give away the surprise. But ever since the Nokia Sea Ray “incident”, we’re always looking for leaks on the web especially if it’s Nokia. It is believed that a global version of the Lumia 900 will be the key device that will break cover at MWC. Then there’s the relatively unknown Nokia 808 which is said to be a Nokia Belle smartphone with a game changing camera on board. Lastly, the Lumia 610 which apparently will be the company’s way to hit out at the low end segment. We’re not sure if the company will launch any of these devices, but as the days go by our faith in these rumors only grow stronger. It will be interesting to see how things go at the highly awaited annual mobile meet.
