Windows 8 to Get its Very Own PDF Reader
PC users have been rather obliged to use the Adobe PDF reader, but what if Microsoft built their own PDF reader? Yes, that has happened. Plaguing security concerns with the users of Adobe PDF reader has made Microsoft make this move.
The PDF reader known as Modern Reader for the Windows 8 platform again shares the metro design as seen in the Windows 8 welcome screen. Check out the images for a better perspective on what we’re talking about. These images were accessed by Paul Thurrott. The page navigation bar on the right and the back button on the top left is noticeable. It pretty much works like any other PDF application with the ability to zoom in and out, support for side by side page views etc.
