From the past few months, we’ve seen various companies announcing their tablet devices at the CES. The most recent announcements being the Motorola Xoom and the BlackBerry Playbook. Well now, HTC who were quite reluctant last year to bring out tablet devices are all set for their first tablet launch.
According to Digitimes, HTC have 3 tablets releasing this year. The first of which would be called the HTC Flyer. This tablet would run on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread and would look like a bigger version of the Nexus One/HTC Desire. The tablet will be available in the United States in March launching ahead of the RIM Playbook and Motorola Xoom.
It seems like Google has reserved the right to launch Honeycomb to Motorola with their Xoom tablet device. Else we would have seen lots of other tablets coming out with Honeycomb which is Android’s first tablet oriented operating system.
