O2 Total Connectivity for iPhone with Free Home Broadband

Some good news for O2 iPhone customers in UK! O2 has just announced a new scheme called “Total Connectivity for iPhone” which lets both new and current customers to purchase 3GB tethering bolt-on for their iPhone and get O2 Home Broadband package for free.

o2 iphone The iPhone tethering bolt-on costs £9.79 a month for 3GB of data, and you can use your iPhone’s mobile broadband to browse the web on your laptop as well. Those who sign up for this deal before 31st December are eligible for O2’s Standard home broadband package at zero cost. This essentially means, for £9.79 you’ll stay connected wherever you go and I think it’s quite appealing.

On the other hand, if you already subscribe to O2’s faster broadband packages like Premium or Pro, you are qualified for a discount of £7.34 per month.

Update: O2 Standard broadband provides transfer speeds of 8Mbps with unlimited downloads. Premium and Pro O2 Broadband packages send speeds up to 16Mbps and 20Mbps respectively.

Good news for o2 users. The price is bit high but I guess it will come down soon.
