Verizon’s “Droid Does” Anti-iPhone Advertisement
This holiday season Verizon is trying to upset iPhone sales with their newly launched anti-iPhone ads named “Droid Doesâ€.
Droid Does ads mock iPhone’s weaknesses by saying: iDon’t – have real keyboard, run simultaneous apps, take 5-megapixel pictures, customize, run widgets, allow open development, take pictures in the dark, interchangeable batteries. “Droid Does†ad on YouTube:
This is one of the first ads in a series of advertisements promoting Motorola Droid handset which is coming next month. Droid is powered by Google Android 2.0, it’s packed with 5-Megapixel camera with flash, multi-tasking enabled, physical and touch input options, interchangeable battery. Nice ad campaign for a potential iPhone killer. Poking Apple head-on!
