Google Street View Trike – Reaching the Unreachable

Did you happen to see a cyclist passing by with something that looks like a hotdog or icecream cart and turned out something alienatic? Well, stop cracking your head on it. It’s not anything harmful or destructive, and its not some guy practicing for the next Tour De France, but they are actually guys hired by Google. These weird looking bicycles that they use are known as Trikes. These Trikes carry heavy and obviously expensive photo equipment to capture all those non-conquerable streets where Google’s Street View vans can’t reach.

Google came out with this brilliant idea to reach the unreachable location in Street View. Love your street? Want it to be crawled by Google Street View Trike? Follow this link here to nominate your favorite spot.

Interesting! Maybe, in the next 50 years, our kids will get to see how the world was 50 years ago. Wish they had internet and street view some 100 years back. Memories preserved! LOL…

You mean something like remote controlled bike guy with a bunch of cameras around him streaming live videos to the web. Sounds science fiction man!

    Unrealistic, but uber cool!

I would like to see one of these things on some of our own streets! :D

Imagine, you popping a wheelie somewhere and you get featured on Google Street View. No Thanks!

I have a bit of mixed reaction when it comes to Street View. What do you say?

Haha! good one Thilak. I would actually like that :P

But with respect to an individual's privacy i have my reservations regarding Google Street View.
