I’m a great fan of Opera’s speed dial feature. It’s basically a browser start page where I can visually see my bookmarks, and click to access them, just like a speed dial on the phone. 44tips.com is something similar, but it’s so much better! It’s not a browser add-on, it’s just a simple start-page for your browser, where you can organize your bookmarks, read feeds, watch videos, listen to music, news and a whole lot more.
They have a section called daily tips, where you can discover funny, popular, talked about videos, photos and websites. If you connect your social networking account with 44tips.com, profile updates of your friends from Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn will be available at one place.
44tips helps you create an online start page with:
• Your favorite sites organized in one place (Del.icio.us intergration)
• Listen to music and look at photos and videos (using Flickr, YouTube and Last.fm API)
• Discover new sites, videos and artists
• News, daily tips, games and movies
• Profiles and updates from your friends and social network (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn…)
