SLife for Windows, coming soon.
As far as I know, one of the things which most of our Macbook (Plain, Pro, Air) toting brethren are most proud of (besides the beautiful Aqua UI and Steve Jobs) is a small little app called Slife. For the uninitiated, Slife is an app which keeps checking on which app you’ve working on frequently, tracking it and giving you neat little graphs and statistics on your app usage history, which can be sometimes surprising. How many times have you gone to Wikipedia or YouTube or heck, any website for that matter, just to check on something and a couple of hours later you realize that you’ve got a dozen or more tabs open on your browser with stuff worth reading/watching for another hour or so? You don’t have to be a six sigma consultant to know that the first step to productivity is to actually measure where you’re spending most of your time on. Slife, besides the other nifty things, simply lets you track it.
Till date, it’s only been available on Apple OSX, which, is about to change. Seems like there’s gonna be a Windows version, real soon now.
