If Microsoft wants to stay in the rat race, they’ll have to do more than paid subscriptions, buying Yahoo is certainly a step in the right direction.

Actually this is about the utorrent, not the microsoft or yahoo. There is an triangular icon down below the utorrent, which should be actually green, but mine is orange and when you hover over this orange triangle it reads:
“No incoming connections
Unless the icon turns green, it could indicate a preblem with your network configuration.”

My speeds are very slow and this problem happened out of the blue.
The problem is that most of my downloads are inactive, however, for some reason a few of the downloads are active. All of the leechers and seeders are shown for all torrents, but only the few active torrents are connected to a single seeder, and maybe a couple of leechers. At the moment my speeds are 2.5kbps instead of about 80. I am on a wireless router, however i tried a land connection on a different isp and the same thing happens. I also have the latest u-torrent version, and i have tried changing ports and ensured u-torrent is in the firewall exceptions.

I would greatly appreciate any help given. Im sure the answer is simple so please let me know if you have any recommendations,

I have consistently maintained that MS withdrew for tactical reasons and that sooner than later, the merger will take place. Yahoo is too vulnerable and MS is sitting on a massive war chest. Yahoo’s share holders would want the merger to take place and with exodus a perennial problem, Yahoo may just bite the bullet soon.

Lets face it, Yahoo’s share price has plummeted since the rejection of the Microsoft offer, and it would definitely be a bargain now, compared to what Microsoft was prepared to pay.

Maybe this is exactly what Microsoft’s Plan B was! Let the stock value drop & then snap up Yahoo at a bargain basement price.

This type of acquisition takes time to achieve and as bloggers we sometimes get frustrated when we are continuously hearing that it “is on” and “then off”.

I do however wish for competition to Google.

I think after the retirement of bill gates, the new CEO will be doing new changes to make his name.
