I have installed Firefox 3.0 today. The loading time has decreased thankfully! Now I dont gotta wait a half an hour for it to load up.

But the autocomplete feature when writing URLs is really pissing me off right now….. does anyone know if we can turn that off?

@Wii – yup, that one works. So does my Check4Change now.

Here are some that aren’t compatible yet.
- FireFTP
- Live PageRank
- NewTabURL
- PayPal Plug-In for Firefox
- PermaTabs
- Save Image in Folder
-SEOpen
- Stealther
- Tab Mix Plus

However, I can tell they are working on this because my list when I first downloaded beta was longer. I just left those addons in place and as Firefox works on them to become FF3 compatible, they automatically re-install.

Im starting to love firefox lately because of its speed compared to internet explorer. If IE wouldn’t do something about it all internet users will switch to firefox.

@Wii – I haven’t had any problems other than a few of my addons not being compatible – but I think they are being updated all the time to be FF3 compliant.

I’d say download it. It works the same and pretty much looks the same.

I downloaded the beta version and it’s been working great so far. I noticed though that some of my addons (like Check4Change) that worked for version 2 doesn’t work on version 3.

I didn’t delete my addons, I just left them there and as Mozilla continues to work on FF3 I’ve noticed one-by-one my addons are coming back and installing themselves.

Other than that, FF3 (beta) works perfectly for me.

Thilak, hi, if you have used the betas, do you think it is worth upgrading to Firexfox 3? Are there many changes that will be noticable for everyday use (and will existing plugins work)?
