Seems like the browser makers are getting a little more focused on look and feel. Remember when Mozilla dumped their cross-platform theme and designed different themes for every operating system? Opera Browser is the newest browser to join the bandwagon. Opera has been having the same theme for several years now, and a makeover was needed. They’ve released a preview build of Opera 9.5 featuring the new theme called "Sharp". It has been designed in a way to not steal any focus from your browsing and gathers inspirations from high end video/audio equipments.
As you can see from the screenshot, they’ve decided to go metallic black this time. The theme as a whole looks pretty sharp and clean, but there are a few exceptions. The reload button looks odd for the skin; it’s green and stands out of the black interface. I found the tabs close button to be very small, for some odd reason, it has been aligned to the top, instead of center (like all other browsers).
What do you feel about the new theme? Tell us through comments.
