When I logged into my Orkut Account today, I noticed a new option to change the theme of my profile and scrapbook page. This is no javascript hack or Orkut app, but only a limited number of users have access to this feature. As of now, you can choose between four different themes (more will be coming soon).
The theme which you choose will be visible to you and all your friends. Check out these screenshots:
You can universally disable all profile skin, if you find them annoying. This means Orkut Blue classic theme will visible to you, no matter what theme your friend has selected. Official announcement is yet to come out, but my guess is that it will be available to everyone by the end of next week.

Interesting… where in the settings can these be toggled (provided you have the feature already)?

Nice one, how did you manage to get into the “limited number of users” catagory do you think?
