    I do not see much benefit accruing to Vodafone through this arrangement in the more sophisticated markets like India and New Zealand. The established networks there will run rings around them.

    Oh goody. I didn’t buy any unlocked phones cuz I want to get it in the proper way. This is great. And hey, what do you mean “no 3G for 3 to 5 years” ?

    Tech Roach: Well, I meant 3G network. Right now, none of our carriers support 3G. It’s kind of pointless to have a 3G supported phone here in India

    I am a Vodafone customer and I dislike O2. Why don’t they release it for England as well? :(
