Celebrate Earth Day!

April 22nd is celebrated as Earth Day all over the world. Like always, social networks and search engines have changed their logo for a day to celebrate this global environmental event.

I changed my desktop wallpaper to something more greener. How did you celebrate Earth Day? Tell us through comments!

Update: Flock has released a new version of their browser nicknamed Flock Eco-Edition. It has a special green theme, and they’ve partnered with some eco-friendly sites to give back 10% of their earnings to the environmental organization.

  • I really like the google logo for earth day. Looks really nice!
  • I didn't even know about Earth Day. Glad that I've read this post!
  • I participated in a local community initiative. At the end of it, I wonder whether all that the individuals do really matter. There is a news item today that Europe is reverting to coal for their electricity generation. Just imagine!
  • ReDuce, ReUse, ReCycle....incorporating these habits into your lifestyle will make every day Earth Day. Isn't that what we should be aspiring to? Being conscious and aware for one day in the year is great, but there are 364 other day in the year that are sadly neglected. So let's make every day Earth Day!
  • Nice! Earth Day is here! Let's make things green!
