MceFM is an addon for Windows Media Center, which lets you listen to songs streamed directly from music recommendation engine Last.fm. Once installed, you simply need to type the name of an artist or song. It’ll connect with Last.fm servers and find similar artists or songs and queues it up.
Furthermore, the plugin can also find music based on your current artist or genre selection. Simply highlight the track in your music library and select "More" from the context menu. You’ll need to sign up for a Last.fm account, if you don’t have it already.

I’ve never been much of a Last.fm fan, but this might make it convenient enough to give it another try. Until now, I’ve always learned towards Pandora and Musicovery.

I started using Last.fm fairly recently and was on the verge of moving on until this plug-in came to my attention. I love the “more” function.
Just need more time to listen to music now.

Stefanie: Agreed, but Last.fm has third party application more than any of them!
Eva White: Looking at VLC forum, It looks like the feature is still being baked in the oven.
