It takes quite a lot of effort to search the web on a mobile phone. You’ll have to open the browser, go to the search engine and then type your query. Google has come up with a search application, which adds itself to the home screen of your phone, so that you can search the web really quick.
Google’s search application is available for Nokia N-series and E-series devices, Blackberry and Windows Mobile phones. Go to mobile.google.com from your phone’s browser to get the search application. I tried the search application on my N95 and I have to admit that it works pretty awesome.
Once the application is installed, it shows up a message "Press pencil button to search" in your home screen. If you ignore the message, it’ll automatically fade into the background. I took some screenshots for you to see it in action:

In a nutshell, you’ll just need to push a button and type your search query. It’s as simple as that. Mobile users who search the web frequently will find this application handy.
