Well, McAfee is pretty effective. To me it came as an option with Vista that I could install right then and there. Yay for McAfee!

Nathaniel: I got Norton with my notebook. Both Norton and McAfee suck performance wise. Right now, I’m using AVG 7.5 free.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never been happy with any of the big anti-virus companies. I leave my personal computers surprisingly unprotected, though it may be time to start reconsidering that.

arun: I guess, the offer has expired.
Stefanie: Hmmm… I was just like you, until I got my vista notebook with free one year license of Norton Antivirus. It was such a bloatware! I jumped on to Clamwin and then moved over to AVG.
Eva White: Frankly, I didn’t try both. I’ve seen McAfee on my brother’s notebook and TrendMicro on my friend’s computer. By looks, I can say that Trend Micro doesn’t bloat as much as McAfee. Have you tried AVG? It’s on top of my favorites list.
