Get McAfee VirusScan Plus 2008 for Free

mcafee_virus_scan A while back, we showed you how to obtain AVG Anti-Virus 7.5 Professional for free. In a similar fashion, you can now enjoy a fully licensed copy of McAfee VirusScan Plus 2008, which otherwise retails for $39.95 for one year license.

McAfee VirusScan 2008 offers proactive PC security to your computer and defends it from viruses, trojans and other malicious attacks. It runs on Windows 2000 and newer operating system (including, the latest Vista OS). Follow these steps to get your free license:

  1. Follow this link to Natwest website and click banner that says "Free PC Security Protect your PC for 12 months with McAfee VirusScan Plus".
  2. Click the Register Now button.
  3. Enter first name, last name, email address, password and click I Agree button.
  4. Now, proceed to "My Account" and you should see McAfee VirusScan Plus being listed at the account’s page. Click the download/install icon.
