In response to Steve Elliot’s comment. HDTV has nothing to do with the format wars of DVD/Blu-Ray. HDTV is it’s own entity and the TV will function perfectly no matter what the DVD box format is.

I have never used a Blu-Ray either. But I got used to my DVD. I’m rather disappointed

Same as flash gamer said, since Ihave netflix and never used a blu-ray, this is going to be bad probably. I may be behind with having the latest technology, because I still use VHS. I’mnot sure if my machine can play blu-ray or not!

Takes me back to the days of VHS vs Betamax. Why do they never learn?

Having said that, I have not got around to buying an HDTV yet, so I am happy to wait until the format war resolves itself.

This is hard to believe. I have never even used a blu-ray disc to this point, but I love HD DVD’s. As a customer of netflix, this is going to suck a bit for me.
