StumbleUpon is a great way to explore interesting web pages, videos and killing spare time, but unfortunately their toolbar supports Firefox and Internet Explorer only. Digital Inspiration writes a super quick workaround, which allows any unsupported browser like Safari or Opera to use StumbleUpon without installing their toolbar.
Just visit http://www.stumbleupon.com/demo/#url=http://google.com and you’ll notice a web-based version of StumbleUpon’s toolbar hovering over the page. No installation required.
This trick is basically meant to give users a preview of what StumbleUpon has to offer before installing their toolbar. Some features like giving thumbs up or down are curbed in this demo version, but you can still stumble for web content and share interesting stuff with your friends via email.
If you are someone, who hates installing a lot of toolbars on your browser, then this one is for you as well!

This is great, but safari should atleast be supported by SU with all buttons working.

Who cares ? Nobody likes Safari or Opera. They both suck when compared to Firefox. I mean, when you start using extensions and advanced features, you would never leave Firefox.

I am not sure if I should make a stumbleupon accout. If I did I would have the toolbar too. Though I only use Firefox and Internet explorer than it would still be a good addition.

Nathaniel I would suggest you should make an account with stumbleupon. It just requires to install a toolbar. It is easy to use and a good social site.

This will certainly expand the reach of stumbleupon which is good cause stumbleupon rocks.
But firefox is still the best browser to use.
