Digital Cube all set to Unveil its Multimedia Electronic Dictionary, i-station UDIC

Digital Cube, a leading South Korean exporter of flash memory based digital audio players, is all set to unveil its multimedia electronic dictionary called i-station UDIC.

The i-station brand continues to remain an extremely popular brand in Korea, having found several takers for its UMPC and PMP devices. The latest electronic dictionary will only strengthen its stand further in the market, as the UDIC does more than just defining and translating. It also supports content of 50 different kinds of dictionary and contains a multi-search engine.i-station UDIC

The new device features a 4.3-inch swiveling LCD touch screen and a full QWERTY keyboard. It enables Text to Speech (TTS), native speakers’ pronunciation, ‘i-TRANS’ translating service, and ‘Video DIC’ movie captioning service.

Fueled by an Alchemy AU 1250 CPU and Dynamic Video Engine (DVE), the UDIC comes with 30GB/60GB hard drive. The company remains tightlipped on the price so far, and their website is of no use either.
