Have you ever tried receiving (or sending) payments through PayPal? If your answer is in the affirmative, then you must be aware of the taxes on any dividends you receive from the fund.

Won’t it be great if you could calculate the PayPal fees just before accepting a payment? This is beneficial since you can know how much PayPal fees will be deducted for a certain payment. Better still, if you could reverse calculate the fees, you’d be able to demand a fixed amount (inclusive of the fee) from the person wiring the money.

Enter PPCalc.com and all those concerns are addressed right from the word go.

The site offers a free web-based PayPal and Reverse PayPal fee calculator, using which you can calculate the PayPal and Reverse PayPal fees respectively in U.S. $. Not only that, the site includes a built-in currency converter, which lets you convert from one currency to the other. To find the latest currency exchange rates used by PayPal, you can also use the PayPal Official Currency Converter (requires login).

I really enjoyed the other options on the site. For instance, it allows you to calculate the currency exchange rate against the U.S. $. It also supports cross-border transactions. Currently, you can use this site for calculating PayPal fees in 103 countries and 16 currencies.

You can also enable the options for PayPal’s Micropayments (Digital Goods) Rate, Personal Account Credit Card Rate, Include 2.5% Currency Conversion Fee, and eCheck Payment.

Last but not the least, you can select the country and currency where the payment is coming from and going to and the monthly sales volume.

Once a fee has been calculated, you can refer to the Fees Breakdown to see how the fee was calculated.

This site gets my vote, simply because of its neat layout and user-friendly features.
