WordPress 2.3.2 Security Update Released

It’s time for another update! WordPress 2.3.2 security patch has been released. 2.3.2 fixes some serious bugs including the one which reveals your blog’s draft post to outsiders. Folks from WordPress call it as an “urgent security release”, so you better not skip this update.

Upgrading to 2.3.2 will also enables you to customize DB error page by placing custom template at wp-content/db-error.php. By doing so, WP will show that page instead of the default error message.

Based on the changes seen on WordPress trac, I have compiled a quick upgrade version of 2.3.2. If you are running 2.3.1, then you can quickly upgrade using this zip file (102 KB) which contains only those files which have been modified. Users using earlier versions of WordPress must go through the standard upgrade process.
