Hide Menubar is a useful Firefox add-on which hides the menu bar and shows it only when the Alt key is pressed. This gives you more screen space and helps you keep yourself more focused on the content by minimizing the clutter from your browser. If you’re like most TechBuzz readers, then you’ll love this add-on because we rarely use the menu bar. We use keystrokes to do almost everything!

Before:

hidemenu_before

After:

hidemenu_after

  1. Great addon. Yes you are right Thilak, we always use keyboard shortcuts!

  2. hmm :) i will hide my less used toolbars and that is ok for me…

  3. I like the idea… except I have my location bar on my address bar so it isn’t very practical for me. Maybe I will have to rethink my setup…
