So I also use Ad-Aware(www.lavasoftusa.com), but never turn it in monitoring mode... I use it only for scanning. I think its worked good enough for me, but off-late have been observing that Windows Defender finds it with the next update after the spyware is popular...But for now I'm still sticking to defender!!
