SearchCamp – Search Engine Marketing Unconference in India

searchcampSearchCamp is a two day event that will talk all about Search Engine Marketing. This event is said to be first of its kind in India and will feature debates, keynotes, workshops on search engine advertising, including optimization and marketing issues.

SearchCamp is scheduled for this weekend (6th & 7th of October 2007) at the Main Auditorium, Tidel Park, Chennai. It’s being organized by The Knowledge Foundation, same folks who organized BarCamp Chennai (Feb ’06), Blogcamp (Sept ’06), Proto.in (Jan ’07) and WikiCamp.in (Feb ’07).

Some well known SEO gurus and experts will be talking at SearchCamp, so if you live close to Chennai, add yourself to the long list of participants. The entry fee is 500 rupees per person.

I will be in Chennai for SearchCamp. If you’d like to meet up and have some coffee, please ping me at me@thilak.in.

Thanks, Rishi
