It has been over three years, since Gmail redefined the way we think of email. All these years, the user base of Gmail kept growing, but the interface and features has pretty much been the same. According to an interesting leak over at Googling Google, a new version of Gmail might just be around the corner.
To make Gmail available in different languages, Google hires common people who are fluent in multiple languages. These translators help Google in translating text and phrases from one language to another, so that Google’s services can be accessible in more than one language. One such translator shed some light over what’s going to come in the new version of Gmail.
Here’s a screenshot of the page, which translators use to convert text and phrases into their native language:
The screenshot clearly indicates that Google Gears will be integrated with Gmail, which means you’ll soon be able to use Gmail offline, without active internet connection. It appears as if some sort of account logging feature is also coming. I couldn’t figure out what "Disable Local Store" means. Any guess?

I saw this earlier and I just thought I don’t really think gmail needs a makeover. It is simple, just like most google apps are (in appearance, obviously the scripts behind the programs are anything but simple). Still interested in what they come up with, if this is true…
