Ahead was supposed to start selling Nero 8 from October 1st, but it looks like pirates have already laid their hands over it. Three weeks before its official release date, Nero 8 is already floating all over BitTorrent network.
Some download sites like Softpedia have also started listing the trial version of Nero 8. I’m not sure whether Ahead official released the trial or not, but it seems like the same thing which is available on BitTorrent. As long as you don’t use the pirated key, you should feel comfortable in trying it out!
Here are some of the screenshots from the burning suite. You can click on the screenshot thumbnail to enlarge it:

Now that Nero 8 is freely downloadable from BitTorrent networks, it’ll be interesting to see how Ahead reacts to this situation. I think they are in serious trouble and shouldn’t wait until October 1st to officially release it!

The new software looks so much better than the old version. Does anyone know what the price is likely to be?

Such piracies should be stopped. It’s very bad for the companies who have planned an official launch for their product. I remember we were to release a music album and our album was pirated before it’s launch, and some of our guests had already seen the video. Such practices should be controlled.
