One major downside about web based instant messenger clients like Meebo or Google Talk gadget was that they don’t let you share files with your buddies, like how their desktop counterpart do. Meebo has once again proved that they are the greatest among all web IMs by adding this feature.
In the chat window, you’ll notice a new file sharing icon (see the above screenshot). All you have to do is click on the icon, and locate your file in the next dialogue box. Your buddy will soon receive a link and he has to click on the link to receive the file. As simple as that! Good job, Meebo!

This is really a very good feature. It saves so much of effort of emailing the file and then the other person checking his mails and then replying. This feature saves a lot of time. and the work can be done immediately over the conversation.

Yes this is great software development on their part. I have always missed this feature while using the web clients of Yahoo messenger. Hope they follow suit soon.
