lol. I was just asking. I wish Wi-Fi was more widespread in India. I remember reading an article in the past about Indian Govt planning to setup a lot of free Wi-Fi hotspots across so that everyone can access internet.

Here in my locality, I wont even get EDGE connectivity. Just plain slow GPRS. F*#$ !!!

Sreejith: Yeah, but there are some die hard Blackberry fans out there. And I believe there is a considerable population of people who have already invested on a phone, now they want a better iPod.

Regarding WiFi hotspots, i don’t think i’ll be writing a post on it. WiFi is wireless internet in simpler words. What kinda a tutorial are you seeking? I mean there is a wide range of stuff you can do with wifi. Anything from sharing files to connecting to internet. It’s pretty simple actually! No one would ever need a tutorial for that.

Hmm… Thilak, but isn’t it wiser to put in a bit more money to get an iPhone instead. But well, the only prob with iPhone is the lack of 3G.

Anyway, Thilak, I would be glad if you can tell me more about how these Wi-Fi hotspots and stuff work. I’ve never used one. Maybe a tutorial post on that would be great for both us and your blog [Pillar content ... hehe wont forget the blogging days ]

Very very sexy I must say, but I heard a rumor(?) that the capabilities might wear down over time. Maybe it was just a rumor?
