Nero is one of the most popular CD/DVD burning applications around. They’ve announced that the next version Nero 8 is due on October 1st (27 days from today). The upcoming version Nero is optimized to work well on Windows Vista and will include a DiscCopy gadget which lets you perform/monitor burn process from Vista’s sidebar. The StartSmart user interface has been completely re-designed.
Apart from burning CD and DVD, Nero 8 can also burn next generation formats like Blu-Ray BD-AV and HV DVD. The burn suite has also been integrated with online video sharing sites such as YouTube and MySpace to enable users to upload their video content with a single click.
Nero 8 will go on sale on October 1st with a price tag of $99.99. You can get the software at a discounted rate of $79.99, if you purchase it from their website. Users who wish to upgrade from earlier version of Nero will also be given discounts.

This is great news…and how soon would it take to go be on the torrents for downloads? LOL, I’m joking. But hope to see some special features from NERO.
