Google has introduced a new framework called PubSub for iGoogle gadgets which allows multiple gadgets to talk to one another and deliver relevant results in other gadgets which have shown interest. For example, if you type a query in the search gadget, you’ll notice other gadgets like news, calendar or map show results based on your search query.
PubSub is a beta feature, so it is not available in Google Gadgets API developer guide. Only gadgets which have been built to take advantage of PubSub framework will interact with each other. If you want to experiment with PubSub before anybody else, you may install these interactive gadgets in your iGoogle tab.
