If you are one of those who refuse spending money on upgrading to Vista, but still want some Vista goodies on their old XP machine, then you should probably check out Visual Task Tip. It’s a tiny shell enhancement Utility which displays thumbnail preview of open windows when the mouse is hovered over taskbar.
It can make your desktop look pretty, while making you more productive. I found this feature pretty handy in Vista, and now even XP users get to enjoy the same. Of course, it comes with some limitations, but still it’s worth installing.
At the time of writing this post, Visual Task Tip has been downloaded 967946 times. Impressive!

Looks good, I will check it out since I am still on XP.
Not that I refuse to, but I don’t think my RAM could handle it. And I can’t afford it either
