One of the sole problem about having accounts on variety of “What are you doing” apps like Twitter, Jaiku or Pownce is that you need to separately update each one of them, which I believe is a total waste of time. Fortunately, there is a way to automatically send your Facebook status as Twitter tweet. Here’s how:
- Go to your Facebook Profile and click on “See All” under Mini-Feed
- Now on the right side, click on “Status Stories” and copy the feed link
- Add this RSS feed to TwitterFeed.com and they’ll automatically publish your RSS feed as Twitter tweets.
We’ve already discussed how to automatically send your Pownce notes as Twitter tweets. More recently, we’ve seen TwitKu which lets you post updates to Twitter and Jaiku simultaneously. Do we need these micro-blogging services? I leave that question to you, but I would be really interested if any one of these micro-blogging services allows me to automatically posts update to other service (without having to use third-party sites like Twitterfeed).

I have always found it inconvenient to manage all such micro-blogging accounts. I prefer to regularly use and update just facebook. It would definitely be nice to be able to manage and update all of them together through a common platform. But I wonder how many people feel a need to use multiple sites.

I don’t see why to have more than one of them anyway. except Pownce, since that’s also for sending files.
