Participating on other blogs through comments can be fun, but it can be painfully tiring to fill-up your name, email and URL over and over again. Why fear when greasemonkey is here. Firefox users who also have greasemonkey extension can install this script (install now) to automate
After installing the script, press SHIFT+ALT+C and you’ll be prompted to enter your name, email and url (if any). From now on, you just have to press ALT+C whenever you see an empty comment form and it’ll be filled automatically. In case you have to change your name, email or url, press SHITF+ALT+C again to enter new values.
Basically, this script is designed to work on all blogs powered by WordPress, but it also works well with other blog engines which use the same ids for the comment field.

well for some reason on most blogs, when am commenting all my name, email and URL are already filled in, or a slight tap of the first letter should put in the values.
dont see much use of this extension unless the user is super lazy enough , still one has to touch the keyboard and twist fingers to get those values filled.
crazy enough shift, alt c! rather a single first letter of the value should do the job ;]

Great! This tips is really helpful! I really annoyed each time to comment at a new blog that I never visit before. May be I should post about it too! Great tips, Thilak. I will trackback to this post.

Damn…..you beat me to writing this post - I have been using AutoFill and some other cool scripts for some time…..thought of writing a post. But i guess i’ll have to skip it, since you wrote it
However, I’ll write about the others, which is a consolation.
And btw, I am using Autofill for this comment

It may seem strange. But, if I have already commented on that blog, I always find my name, email & website already filled in.
why that so?

Goutam Lenka: Firefox tries to auto-fill form by default, but it doesn’t always work universally.
