Bounce Your Pownce to Twitter Automatically

Early adopters of Kevin Rose’s new marketing thang, Pownce wouldn’t have to forsake their (possibly) first love, Twitter to start using it. Like everything else, we know that people have their limits when it comes to time. Just like having half-a-dozen email accounts is a PITA, so is using Twitter and Pownce simultaneously.

Luckily, Pownce can deliver your public notes as RSS feed, which makes it possible to bring your notes into Twitter (automatically). Here’s how:

  1. Get a TwitterFeed.com account (needs OpenID)
  2. Login and click “Create new twitter feed link”
  3. Fill-in your Twitter credentials and your Pownce RSS feed. It looks something like this: http://www.pownce.com/feeds/public/thilak/ (change ‘thilak’ according to your Pownce ID)
  4. Set the update frequency to 30 min and click create button.

  • Nice feature, will try
  • But, the 30 min update stuff is the problem. Anyway, I'll try it out. :)
  • The pownce RSS feed is not working. Any solution for that?
