Carlos Slim Helu’s worth is estimated to be $67.8 billion, whereas Gates’s wealth is estimated to be around $59.2 billion. Soaring stock prices of America Movil has made Mr. Slim climb onto the top spot.
If you compare philanthropy, Mr. Bill Gates has a huge lead over Carlos Slim. According to Wikipedia, Bill Gates has donated $29 billion to charities since 2000.
