Most Windows Users want to try Ubuntu, but they don’t want to mess around with partitioning or burning disc and running it in low performance mode. If you are those faint hearted users, then Wubi is for you. It installs Ubuntu into windows folder, eliminating any need to modify the partition.

Wubi is an independent project and includes all apps which come with Ubuntu. Once installed, you can uninstall it without any complications. Wubi is free and will run on any Windows Platform (except Vista).
