The makers of FoxyTunes have released TwittyTunes, which lets you post your currently playing music to Twitter and more. TwittyTunes works by integrating FoxyTunes with Twitter, so you’ll need FoxyTunes to get this extension working. Once installed, it’s just a one click process of posting music currently playing to your Twitter profile. Your friends can see the song title along with a link to FoxyTunes Planet, a new FoxyTunes product which contains all the music related stuff like videos, lyrics and others in one place.
Apart from music, you can also stream the page which you’re browsing or even the video which you’re watch, which is pretty cool because you can save a lot of time without having to do anything. These extra features work even without FoxyTunes.
TwittyTunes makes Twitter works pretty much like Last.fm, which is both good and bad. Good because it will share your music with your followers in real time, bad because it kinda pollutes Twitter. Your followers might or might-not like it. They could have added auto posting feature to TwittyTunes, which would automatically post to Twitter, but then again won’t it terribly annoy your followers? Twitter mania is surely taking over us, it seems like we’ve been endlessly covering Twitter and other related tools. Add TechBuzz as your friend to receive blog updates and other updates via Twitter.
