We had our Latin Area competition there! Seriously, the school shouldn’t be concerned with this at all. People have made maps of plenty of other schools and buildings. Heck, if they’re concerned about the map itself, all schools give out thousands and thousands of copies. This is just a 3-D version…for an game…
This is sick.Even if they couldnt praise the kid for the creativity, they shouldnt have done this.Well my friend created a Quake 3 map of our college for intercollegiate gaming competition which was widely appreciated.
In my opinion, it’s pretty retarded, but I suppose if he WAS a terrorist he could learn the layout of the school and plan his attack route. It’s still retarded.

Heh! I will try not to comment on whether it was right or wrong. But I think it is quite natural.
The people are usually a paranoid lot, and they take extra precautions. That is the way they are. I would be surprised if they had acted other wise. They are, what can be categorized as a ‘egalitarian society’. (I am not painting a stereotypical picture here - just stating my opinion).
seriously its wrong. there is nothing wrong in suspension of the student because the map of the school inherited in the game makes or changes the mind of the student …

Well, it depends on the age of the kid..if he`s under, let`s say, 14 then they should reward him for creating the map by himself

Nothing wrong the kids create his own school animated map. Must be the parent too sensitive after the Virginia Tech Shooting incident.
