Google provides users with a powerful search tool that has unlimited capabilities. Among the unlimited capabilities is the advanced search ability, which uses search parameters that you provide. Today, we are going to use this to find our most favorite mp3 files for free! Here’s an example:
intitle:”index of” +”last modified” +”parent directory” +description +size +(wma|mp3) “songtitle”
Insert this line into the Google search engine and you will be able to find directories containing songs that you request. Just replace ’songtitle’ with the name of your song and downloadable mp3 files will show up.
Now, you can also modify the parameters to search for other files such as ZIP, RAR, ISO, etc. However, be careful and check for infected files if they are capable of carrying viruses and trojans. I see a bit of controversy around this - what about MP3s that are copyrighted? Ofcourse, Google is not to be blamed for this - as it remains the responsibility of the user and provider to see it that it is legal.

Its funny how we don’t know how to work the tool that we use more then any other. I mean I thought I was advanced using “”, +, -. But this type of searching is amazing.
