I thought the TiSP and the Gmail Paper were a hoot — but last year’s — not so much.
I thought Google Romance was a genuine service, and, being an unpartnered woman who would like to find her Heart’s True Hero, my heart was beating faster than a speeding bullet. When I went to register and was informed that it was only a prank, I was so disappointed I almost cried and felt like throwing things at my screen. Was I the only one who was disappointed that Google romance was only a prank? I didn’t find it funny. I thought it was cruel, mean, and sadistic, and the Google honchos were having a laugh at the expense of tens of thousands of unpartnered souls who would really rather be partnered. Anyone else think it was a mean trick on Google’s part?

At first I thought this might explain Google’s recent purchases of the ‘dark fiber’. Afterall, they would need the fiber to support the bandwidth for the free wireless internet connection they are offering. Unfortunately this is just an april fool joke but Google becoming ISP is not that far off.

I agree that it would be pretty cool for Gmail Paper to become a reality. Although, I almost must realize that users of the service can make their own Paper copies. It’s called a printer.

As for TiSP, it’d be awesome if it were real. Until I read what the acronym actually stood for, I thought it was real.

I was ROTFL when i saw TiSP. GMail Paper sounded cool and i thought its a real service but when i read fully that they will offer photo & MP3 support,i knew they were playing pranks.

Infact GMail paper might be needed and i guess its a cool business model for GMail to get ads printed on paper & hard copy of mail by mail service provider may be usefull in some court proceedings,, Wish they launch it soon..

If it was a prank, i don’t think they would put about Gmail Paper in the Gmail Homepage, Though i did not find the button inside Gmail, might be its being launched slowly .
