Bubble Guru – Popup Video Messages

The most common approach to convey a video message to your visitors would be to shoot a video and upload it to YouTube and then embed it on your site. Bubble Guru does exactly the same, but in space conserving way by adding short video popup which appears within a round ball and moves up and down as your visitor scrolls through the page.

This sweet little annoying video bubble can be instantaneously killed by the visitor by simply clicking on it. From the visitor’s perspective, I find it really annoying and somewhat resembles an ad. It would have been better, if the video did not auto play and the bubble could be moved around the site. It is surely an innovative, space saving and appreciably idea. Bubble Guru is still its development cycle and is free till May 1st. After which, you have to opt for a paid subscription to run the bubble on your site.

To see a live preview of BubbleGuru on your site, head over to their homepage, scroll to the bottom and find ‘See a sample of bubble guru on your site’.

[Thanks: Kevin, Bubble Guru]

It looks more like an ad. If it was draggable it would be better. I don’t think a lot of people will use it.

I think that Brown is right. This can be annoying to the users.
