Performancing had plugged into troubles after Nick Wilson quitting as CEO and PayPerPost deal failed. Recently they got acquired by SplashPress, the parent company of BlogHerald and now it seems like they are slowly trying to make a comeback. Performancing Metrics Stats Service, which was earlier dumped due to heavy running cost, is back again with Shiny new dashboard and other innovative features such as RSS Feeds to track stats and Spy to view the live activity going around your blog. They claim to offer unrivaled per visitor level of detail.
To overcome the previous problems, they’ve commercialized the Metrics package. The service is freely available for sites with less than 1000 pageviews per day. However, for sites with higher traffic levels you must subscribe to premium service at the price of 14.99$ per year. All new signups get a free 21 days trial of the premium service, after which you’ll be downgraded to free service.
For 14.99$, you can track upto 10000 daily pageviews. For even higher traffic levels, you must pay 1$ per year for 1000 daily pageviews, which means if your site receives 40000 daily pageviews, you must pay 40$ per year.
14.99$ per year is quite affordable, but they should increase the traffic levels. Actually, pricing based on daily pageviews isn’t one of the best ideas because we just can’t predict traffic. What if you unexpectedly get in Digg Frontpage or Delicious Popular page?

It looks exactly like getclicky.com but I don’t see anything that ties the 2 together. I’m probably just missing something.
