Help, i can’t use foxtorrent it says ‘FoxTorrent:AzComm component could not make connection – check your settings’
What does it mean and how to fix it.

Actually, What I meant to say was.. Google Toolbar sometimes causes such error, because I see no such issues here. The font appears in Black and the background area is white.

Maybe a screenshot would help me better understand your situation.

Everton: Do you use any addon which highlights textareas ?? One such extension is Google Toolbar. My Text Area font color is black.

Wouldn’t it be better to fix your site design so that users don’t have to install extensions? Plus, I bet 50% of your readers use IE

Suresh: Mouse Gesture is nice plugin, I guess it was built for FF first and then get incorporated into Opera.

Ramanathan: I agree, FF was working poorly in my old P3, it work fairly in my new AMD X2 desktop, It was like a charm on my new HP Pavillion DV6137TX… I guess Firefox is resource hungry. If you feed it with RAM it stays happy.

Emblogpedia is right. FF already eats hell lot of memory. I am big fan of FF, but for last 4 ,5 weeks i am having a tough time with it. Will not try this FoxTorrent.

I strongly agree with both of you, but there are quite a few who like to see everything inside Firefox. Maybe they should include Generic support to torrents in FF3, just like Opera.

Hi Thilak,

While comparing Opera with Firefox, another cool feature firefox lacks is the “Mouse gestures”.
In Opera I found this feature pretty useful…especially the gesture for ‘back button’…..
I was wondering whether there is any ffx xtn which captures mouse gestures.

About the idea of BT client embedding in a browser….hmmm… No offense meant but, I can’t imagine why such a feature is needed for a browser.
Consider this case.. while dwnloading something using the embedded BT Client, we wont be able to close the browser (I assume) even if we are done with browsing…
so ultimately we will be running a BT client(the addon) & the browser unnecessarily….
May be I’m saying this is because, I’m so used to gud old utorrent
