Snap Invites You To Suggest Ideas, 5000$ to be won

As we all know, Snap Preview recently implemented some changes to make their service a bit more eye friendly. They are now inviting you to participate in their contest and suggest ideas to make them even better. The total prize money is $5000, the top three ideas will win:

  • 1st Prize: US$2500
  • 2nd Prize: US$1000
  • 3rd Prize: US$500

They have set-up a Digg like suggestion site for the entire contest and you need to submit your ideas on that site. You stand a chance to win, even without submitting ideas, just by commenting on ideas submitted by others. Two most compelling comments win $500 each. You can submit ideas/comment on ideas/vote for ideas at contest.snap.com

It’s good to see giants like Yahoo, Dell and now, Snap to encourage users to suggest ideas. Who is next? Maybe you… get your copy of Pligg and start your own suggestion site. Pligg just got a whole new market.

I read about this in my email as well. The only problem I see is a lot of people were spamming and trying one liners to win the money.
