In the endless race for the best online feed reader, Adobe has come up with their own version called myFeedz. Adobe describes myFeedz as:
“More than an RSS reader, myFeedz is designed to help you keep track with the latest news and trends on the Internet, offer you articles relevant to your interests, and reduce the information overload. It learns from your reading habits and helps you keep up with your interests by offering personalized contentâ€
myFeedz can import your existing feeds from other feed readers (obviously via OPML). They have a ‘meme’ like feature which sorts your feed by popularity or date. myFeedz is adaptive, it learns from you reading habit. Now, this makes me worry because my reading habits change from time-to-time (or even day-to-day).
myFeedz was developed by InterAKT somewhere around August 2006, but Adobe took over that company and launched myFeedz on Adobe Labs. Overall, it’s an impressive stuff from Adobe. This is the first social application from Adobe, usually we see them spending money on developing software rather than something like this.
