Samsung F700 Tries to Catch-up with iPhone

iPhone clones (like phones) are popping out like weed thesedays. Earlier we saw LG come out their PRADA Phone and now, it’s Samsung with their Ultra Smart F700 that looks similar exactly to iPhone. It boasts EDGE, GPRS, UMTS and HSDPA with a bashing 7.2 Mbps download speed for data communications. Also supports HTML browsing with Bluetooth and Micro SD expansion. F700 has a jumbo 5 megapixel camera onboard. Unlike iPhone, The F700 comes with a touchscreen as well as a QWERTY [See the photos]

F700 has 240×440 pixels wide, 262K color display and comes with indigenous Samsung OS. The slideable QUERTY keyboard and ultra slim form factor seems to be a vantage point with F700. However, Apple seems to be quite confident that no other Cellphone would supplement their iPhone, but still they’ll surely nag iPhone quite a bit.

Samsung is expected to reveal more details of F700 at next week’s 3GSM World Congress Exhibition. Frankly, I don’t like to cover these iPhone clones like phones. It’s quite shocking to see companies like Samsung and LG try to build clones catch-up with iPhone.

Trying to catch up...come on...they could not have designed and built a clone of iPhone in a month.

Kudos that the F700 emphasizes as large screen. To be truly useful, it needs the Phraze-It keyboard for typing with your fingers or thumbing directly on the screen

Or maybe it is a copy of the LG KE850??? Either way it is more powerful and open.
