Did GMail Really Open Its Door?

Yesterdays, Blogger from all over blogosphere reported that GMail was now available to all; which means everybody can sign up for GMail without an invite or a mobile phone. This news was certainly true because Google had made a mirror rectification to its Help Page on 5th February. Here’s a screenshot from Yahoo cache:

However, Google has put back the original text on their Help Page. The signup link provided in the previous Help Page points towards the sign-in page again, which means GMail has not opened up to the world yet. This is just an indication that Google is preparing to open GMail worldwide.
