Apple recommends iTunes users to wait before upgrading their PCs to Vista. The latest version of iTunes, 7.02 works with Vista, but it has some serious compatibility issues which need to be resolved. For instance, ejecting the iPod using “Safely Remove Hardware†feature in Vista may corrupt the iPod. Users might also face trouble syncing calendar, contacts with their iPod and playing songs downloaded from iTunes Music Store.
Microsoft has deployed a team to work with Apple and resolve compatibility issues. Microsoft spokesman said that possible iTunes compatibility issues should not stop consumers from switching over to Vista.
As of now, Apple has released just one patch which fixes a single compatibility issue. The patch can be downloaded from here. This leaves me wondering, whether Apple did it deliberately.

I would not put it past Apple to do this on purpose. If they weren’t ready for it they could easily trash the system so it wasn’t compatible. Apple is notorious for doing things at their own pace and not caring what others think.

Brain that would be all well and good if the facts didn’t get in the way. Keep in mind Apple and Microsoft have had a team working together to get Vista and iTunes to play nice.
Take your tinfoil hat off, sit back and take another hit of the bong. All will be well in a few weeks

I have vista and let me tell you it is not just apple compatibility issues. I am ready to have it off and XP put on. If you ask me Microsoft probably did it intentionally. Who releases a software that is compatible with nothing. Upgrade my ***
