Picnik is a powerful online image editor which works through your browser. Its free, you don’t even have to be registered, but it’s always recommended. To start, Picnik can grab photos from variety of sources which include your computer, your flickr account, remote website, Yahoo Search or even your webcam.

With an extremely clean and neat interface, Picnik can crop, exposure, colors, sharpen, auto fix and remove eyes. Additional functionalities include special effects which can transform your photos into B&W, Sepia, Boost, Matte, Vignette or Soften (still four more creative tools to be added).

Once you’re done with editing, you can share it either by saving it to flickr, by email, flickr slideshow or you could even get it posted to variety of photo sharing website like Photobucket, SnapFish, Kodak EasyShare… etc. Ofcourse, you can save it to your own computer.

Unlike other online photo editors, Picnik is lightning fast. In short words, Picnik can be described as an online alternative to Picasa.

[Picnik Tip: You can switch over to fullscreen mode by double clicking the page Picnik logo on the top of the page. I found it while playing around with Picnik]
